For that aim, two searches in the main scientific databases (Web of Science and Scopus) were carried out in order to find all the studies focused in the analysis of crashing memories. A total of 14 primary studies were found, obtaining 17 effect sizes. The results showed a positive and significant mean effect size, and of a magnitude greater than 72.86% of all the possible effects, but non-generalizable i.e., the results are mediated by moderators. Furthermore, the results showed an increase of the 71.93% in the probability that false memories were developed with the crashing memories methodology. 摘要
