Sensitivity and scattering in an integrated heterodyned laser biochemical sensor
We demonstrate a novel biochemical sensor based on monolithically integrated heterodyned sampled-grating DBR lasers. An untraditional waveguide design will allow detection of single 100 nm diameter macromolecules.
