This research is motivated by the limited learning resources used by students and the lack of teacher ability in developing teaching materials in the form of modules and other teaching materials. In addition, the learning process is still dominantly teacher centered and the learning model used is still conventional. The purpose of this study was to produce teaching materials in the form of Discovery Learning Based Modules with Local Potential Nuances in Plantae Materials in Class X MAN 2 Religion that are valid and practical. This type of research is development research (R&D) using the 4 D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate), but in this research it only reaches the develop stage. The instruments used are validation sheets and practicality questionnaires. The results of the study show that the developed teaching materials fulfill all aspects of a development research and are in accordance with the characteristics of a teaching material. The developed teaching materials have a validity percentage of 90.86% in the very valid category and the teacher's practicality percentage is 96.15% in the very practical category and the students' practicality percentage is 90.15% in the very practical category. 摘要
