The dimensions of the transmission line may be designed to provide a transmission line of 50Ω characteristic impedance periodically. A 4-bit Distributed MEMS transmission line (DMTL) phase shifter has been designed and provides the phase shifts of 900/3540/3360 depending on the combination of bits being used. The frequency of the complete designed is taken as 3-4 GHz of S-band and resonant frequency of around 3.55 GHz. A highly integrated complete structure has been designed on FR4-epoxy substrate having relative permittivity of 4.4 and has the area of 164.17 × 85.49 mm2 only. 摘要
本文采用尺寸为(0.2/1.6/0.2)mm的共面波导(CPW)作为传输线,在其上周期性间隔10个电容并联RF MEMS开关,以实现明显的相移。传输线的尺寸可以设计成周期性地提供50Ω特性阻抗的传输线。设计了一种4位分布式MEMS传输线(DMTL)移相器,根据所使用的位的组合提供900/3540/3360的相移。完整设计的频率为s波段的3-4 GHz,谐振频率为3.55 GHz左右。在相对介电常数为4.4、面积仅为164.17 × 85.49 mm2的fr4 -环氧树脂基板上设计了一种高度集成的完整结构。采用高频结构模拟器(HFSS version 13.0)软件进行设计和分析。
