This study was conducted byusing experimental research. The population of the study was all classes of grade eight in2015/2016 academic year at SMP Negeri 8 Pematangsiantar. There are two classes were chosen asthe sample of the research by applying random sampling technique. Each class consists of 34students. The instrument used for the data collection was a test. The data were analyzed by usingANOVA. 摘要
本研究试图找出(1)传统技巧对中学八年级学生英语语调能力的影响;(2)模仿技巧对中学八年级学生英语语调能力的影响;(3)练习技巧对中学八年级学生英语语调能力的影响;(4)练习技巧对中学八年级学生英语语调能力的影响大于模仿技巧或常规技巧的影响。本研究采用实验研究的方法进行。该研究的人群是SMP Negeri 8 Pematangsiantar在2015/2016学年的所有八年级班级。采用随机抽样技术,选取两个班级作为研究样本。每班由34名学生组成。用于数据收集的仪器是一个测试。采用方差分析对数据进行分析。研究发现:(1)传统方法对中学八年级学生英语语调能力的影响并不显著,表现在学生的得分上:平均= 49.11,最高= 60,最低= 40;(2)模仿技巧对中学八年级学生英语语调能力的影响表现为:平均分61分,平均分76分,平均分85分,平均分45分;(3)练习技巧对中学八年级学生英语语调能力的影响表现为:平均75分、58分、最高90分、最低50分;(4)练习技巧对中学八年级学生英语语调能力的影响显著高于模仿技巧或常规技巧。
The Effect Of Drill and Imitation Techniques in Students’ Ability in Using English Intonation Of Grade VIII Students of SMP Negeri 8 Pematangsiantar
