The text was constructed taking into account qualitative and quantitative details that reflect the reality of the Directory / Research Group, consequently, of the research in History of Education in the Midwest and in Brazil. Work is a manifestation of resistance and hope. Resistance that is made in never surrendering to discouragement and tiredness caused by greed and by intransigent governmental and institutional attitudes that deliberate mismanagement, disrespect and destruction in relation to academic and scientific research in Brazil.
