However, in fact telecommunications in rural area get a lot of constraints such as expensive infrastructure, difficult terrain and electrical problem. In this paper, we offer a design of mobile wireless communication based on openWRT as solution for communication in rural areas. This design combines VoIP technology and mesh ad-hoc network implemented on embedded device with openWRT as main firmware. With this technique, we will get a lot of advantages such as mobility, flexibility, low-cost development and implement, and low power consumption.
