In a PC-based survey, fifteen CASE technological functions were compared along with two behavioral functions using the method of paired comparison. A rank ordering of the results revealed that data-flow diagramming and the data dictionary maintenance technological functions were perceived to most improve the respondent's productivity over comparable manual methods.
