विद्यालय शिक्षा परीक्षामा अक्षराङ्कन पद्धतिको प्रयोग (Use of letter grading system in School Education Examination)

यस लेखको मुख्य उद्देश्य विद्यालय शिक्षा परीक्षा (एस. ई. ई.) मा प्रयोग भइरहेको अक्षराङ्कन पद्धतिको वर्तमान अवस्था पत्ता लगाई, यसमा देखिएका अन्यौलताहरु हटाउने उपाएको खोजी गर्नु रहेको छ । खास गरी नेपालको शिक्षा प्रणालीको विद्यार्थी मूल्याङ्कनको क्षेत्रमा लामो समयसम्म एउटै पद्धति लागु भइरहेको अवस्थामा शैक्षिक गुणस्तर कमजोर हुँदै गएको र अन्र्तराष्ट्रिय स्तरको शिक्षा प्रणालीमा तथा विद्यार्थी मूल्याङ्कन पद्धतिको विषयमा धेरै सुधार भइसकेकाले नेपालमा पुरानै ढङ्गले विद्यार्थी मूल्याङ्कन हुँदा त्यस्तो सर्टिफिकेट अन्तराष्ट्रिय बजारमा विक्नलाई समस्या हुँदै गएकाले लामो समयसम्म चलेको अङ्कन पद्धतिमा सुधार गर्नुपरेको हो । यो लेख मूलत गुणात्मक ढाँचामा आघारित भई तयार पारिएको छ । अन्र्तवार्ता तथा अवलोकन का साथै द्धितिय स्रोतका आधारमानै प्रायजसो तथ्याङ्क संकलन गरिएको छ । यो अध्ययन नेपालको सन्दर्भमा एक नयाँ अभ्यास भएकाले यसमा धेरै भ्रम र अन्यौलता हरु छन । अध्ययनको सन्र्दभमा खासगरि अन्तराष्टिय अभ्यासलाई बुझ्न नसक्नु शिक्षक, विद्यार्थी, अभिभावक लाई प्रर्याप्त मात्रामा जानकारी नगराईनु यस सम्वन्धि उत्पन्न भ्रमलाई अन्त्य गर्न नसक्नुनै मूख्य कमजोरी पाईयो । खासगरि विद्यार्थीमा नपढी पनि पास होईन्छ भन्ने भावना वढ्दै गएको अवस्थालाई अन्त्यगर्न सो सम्बन्धमा पटक पटक विद्यार्थीलाई अभिमुखिकरण गराउनु पर्छ अभिभावकशिक्षाको ब्यवस्था गर्नु पर्छ । शिक्षकलाई पर्याप्त मात्रामा तालिमको ब्यवस्था मिलाउनु पर्छ । नीति निर्माताले सो सम्वन्धमा ब्यापक अभ्यास गरेर मात्र कार्यक्रम लाई अगाडि वढाउनुपर्छ । एक पटक वनेको नीति छोटो छोटो समयमानै परिवर्तन गरिहाल्दा पनि धैरै भ्रम बढ्दै गएको भेटिएकाले कार्यक्र्रम लागु भएपछि त्यसका धेरै सकारात्मक र कमजोर पक्षको विश्लेषण गरि क्रमिक रुपमा त्यसमा सुधार गर्दै लानु पर्ने कुरा समग्र अधययन पश्चात थाहाँ लाग्यो । (The main objective of this article is to find out the current state of the letter grading system being used in the School Education Examination (S. E. E.), and looking for a way to remove the anomalies seen in it. Especially in the field of student evaluation of Nepalese education system, when the same method is being applied for a long time, the quality of education is weakening, and since many improvements have been made in the international education system and the student evaluation system, it has become a problem to use such certificates in the international market when students are evaluated in the old methods in Nepal. The scoring system has to be improved. This article has been prepared based on a qualitative approach. Most of the data has been collected based on interviews and observations as well as secondary sources. As this study is a new practice in Nepal, there are many confusions and misunderstandings in it.  Being unable to understand the international practice, especially in the context of the study,  giving less sufficient information to the teachers, students, parents, and being unable to end the confusion caused in this regard was found to be the main weakness. In order to end  the growing feeling among students that they will not pass even if they do not study, it is necessary to give orientation to the students from time to time. Adequate training should be arranged for the teachers. The policy makers should carry out the program only after extensive practice in this regard. After the overall study, it was found that because the policy was changed in a short period of time, there was a lot of confusion, and therefore, to make improvements in it analyzing both positive and negative effects is essential.)
