WiMAX has a wide coverage and can be used in non-line-of-sight conditions so appropriate for rural areas. This paper shows the design of WiMAX network in Sleman using IEEE standard 802.16d/e and performed simulations use OPNET. Distribution of the user based on the population density of each district. Test of video services in IEEE 802.16d show poor quality in delay, and troughput 56 Mbps. Tests on voice services show poor quality in delay, and good-quality jitter. Tests on the http service are very good quality of delay (under 150 ms), and moderate packet loss. Testing for video services in the IEEE 802.16e show poor quality of delay. Tests on voice services are poor quality of delay, and good quality jitter.
