The antenna consists of a square radiating patch embedded in the wide-slot. Inverted U-shaped slot and pair of parallel rectangular slots in the ground plane are the main reasons for the notched structure and creation of dual bands. The First band ranges from 2.20 GHz - 3.04 GHz which covers Bluetooth (2.4 GHz), WLAN (2.4 GHz) and WiMAX (2.5 GHz).
