The approximation and detailed signals of wavelet transform have been used for detection of stator fault with a proposed simulation model. In the simulation model; the stator inter-turn fault has been created and diagnosed by the time domain and time-frequency domain approaches in the transient condition. Therefore; early fault diagnosis of the motor is possible and averted the motor before reaching in the ruinous conditions. As a result; the industries may save large revenues and unexpected failure conditions.
