In this research, a total of 360 students of 4th and 5th grades from primary school have been reached by using a method of stratified sample. Two different scales have been developed in this study to determine students’ attitudes towards environment. The first scale has a single-factor structure and consists of 32 items. The second one, the Environmentally Responsible Behavior Scale (CYSDO), is a three-factor structure consisting of 21 items. In the process of developing the scales literature review, by examining the items which have been written in a scale format have been converted to data collection tool. The necessary regulations and pre-application were made as a result of expert opinion, teacher opinion and the negotiations with a group of students in order to determine the suitability of language and expression. According to the exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis the scales have been confirmed as models.
