Efficient improvement of solar photo voitaic system using artificial cooling methods
The performance of the silicon cells are severely affected by many factors such as crystalline structure, intensity of sunlight, angle of sunlight irradiation, surface temperature of solar panels etc. The main factor which affects significantly the performance of solar cells is surface temperature of solar cells. The scope of this research is to study the effect of cooling of solar panel using two fluids i.e. air and water and also compare the results with other existing PV panel cooling technologies. Further cost analysis is also carried out for all the cases as a part of this research to propose the best system for PV panel efficiency improvement.
