The current mechanisms of cooperation in this area are studied, conjunctural and systemic barriers to integration are identified, taking into account deep changes in the geopolitical and geo-economic sense, and the prospects for overcoming them are assessed. Special attention is paid to the study of promising cooperative projects that, according to the author, can not only give a “fresh” impetus to the general practice of scientific and educational interaction in the EAEU, but also bring the cooperation of the states of the region to a new level of interaction, provide the much-needed complexity to the entire project of Eurasian integration.
