Both peppers exhibited good tolerance, stand establishment, and fruit number and total yield with fomesafen at 0.28 and 0.42 kg/ha applied pretransplant (PRE-T) and posttransplant (POS-T) on day of planting, napropamide at 2.24 kg/ha PRE-T, oxyfluorfen at 0.28 and 0.56 kg/ha applied PRE-T, and bentazon at 0.56 and 0.84 kg/ha applied two wk after transplanting (EPOST). Oxyfluorfen at 1.12 kg/ha PRE-T and sulfentrazone at 0.42 kg/ha applied PRE-T and POS-T caused severe injury, stand reduction, and reduction in number of fruit and yield for these cultivars.
