The analysis made it possible to show the relationship between the transformation of food culture and the lack of essential components of nutrition. The chapter identifies stable trends influencing the worldview of a modern person about food culture as a whole – the mutual influence of the West and the East. There is a shift from national authentic food systems towards international ones. This trend has driven the urbanized person towards chronic snacking and fast-food culture.
