Electromagnetic and NVH study for low power Synchronous Reluctance Machine
The aim of the present paper is to theoretically and experimentally evaluate the structural behavior of two Synchronous Reluctance Machines for an automotive application. Starting from the benchmark machine an optimal design procedure is applied and the geometrical and electrical data of the machines are obtained. After an electromagnetic analysis envisaging the performances of the proposed topologies vs the one used already in the real application, a theoretical modal analysis is performed. Its results are experimentally validated on a test bench.
