Bioplastics based on copolymers of glycerin, phthalic anhydride and lactic acid
The preparation of bioplastics based on copolymers of maleic anhydride and glycerol with additives of bioactive units of lactic acid is described. The obtained copolymers are promising for the use as reinforcing polymer systems of cellulose-containing materials applied in packaging. It has been shown that the use of lactic acid makes possible to obtain synthetic biopolymers which are rapidly degradable under natural conditions, that is favorable for the protection of the environment.
