Research on the impact of executive incentive on the business performance of listed tourism companies based on multiple regression model
Based on incentive theory, principal-agent theory, residual claim theory and other relevant theories, this paper uses 135 samples from 27 domestic listed tourism companies from 2015 to 2019 as the data support of actual research, and investigates the impact of executive incentive on the business performance of listed tourism companies through multiple regression analysis. The research finds: 1. Compensation incentive and equity incentive have a significant positive impact on the operating performance of listed tourism companies; 2. Compared with single incentive combination, compound incentive combination is more helpful to improve the operating performance of listed tourism companies. The research conclusions of this paper are beneficial to enrich the research results related to executive incentive and the operating performance of listed tourism companies, and have guiding significance on how to optimize the compensation contract to improve the operating performance of listed tourism companies.
