However, high peak to average power ratio is a major limitation of OFDM system which makes the overall system less effective. Various methods are proposed by the researchers to reduce high PAPR. In this paper, we review and analyze clipping and filtering, exponential companding (EC), selected mapping (SLM) and partial transmit sequence (PTS) techniques and make a comparison among them to identify the best solution for reducing PAPR.
