The necessity of applying the proposed recommendations for the implementation of the process of comparing technical, operational and economic indicators, taking into account the identified advantages and disadvantages of existing types of rolling stock currently used: with a hybrid trolleybus, is proved. A statistical study of the dynamics of environmentally friendly urban types of passenger transport was carried out: the operational length of trolleybus and tram tracks, the volume of passenger traffic on public transport of the Russian Federation, the Volga Federal District and its constituent regions.
