Thus, the research focused on the scrutiny of the League of Teachers, conducting a survey of its activities through publications about the entity in thirteen newspapers, between the years of 1919 and 1937. It was possible to perceive the recurrence of discourse by the union as something that would bring benefits to the category, besides the recognition of these entities as an educational agency.
