The tendency of choosing the language is seen based on the place and situation where the speech event occurs. This research method uses a descriptive method, a method that seeks to describe a situation or phenomenon that is happening at the present time. The population of this study were students in Arabic education department Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo, the number of samples taken was 20 students. The results of this study indicate that on average 60% of those who choose to use Indonesian. In addition to Indonesian, some students also chose to use regional languages as much as 11%, first language 12.5%, mixed languages 13%, and for Arabic as much as 3.5%. The choice of language is influenced by internal and external factors. Internal factors are in the form of different cultural and social backgrounds, while external factor is environment. So, it can be concluded that the tendency of choosing the language of students in Arabic language education is Indonesian in both formal and informal situations. 摘要
本研究旨在描述学生选择使用语言的趋势,特别是在阿拉伯语教育部门。选择语言的倾向是根据言语事件发生的地点和情况来判断的。这种研究方法使用描述性方法,一种试图描述当前发生的情况或现象的方法。本研究的人群为阿拉伯语教育部门Tarbiyah和教师培训学院IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo的学生,样本数量为20名学生。这项研究的结果表明,平均60%的人选择使用印尼语。除了印尼语,一些学生也选择使用地区语言高达11%,第一语言12.5%,混合语言13%,阿拉伯语高达3.5%。语言的选择受到内部和外部因素的影响。内部因素表现为不同的文化和社会背景,外部因素表现为环境。因此,可以得出结论,在阿拉伯语教育中,学生在正式和非正式场合都倾向于选择印尼语。本研究中获得的数据描述了阿拉伯教育部门使用语言变化的结果,因此需要进一步研究文化和环境背景对学生语言技能的影响。
