The channel estimation is based on the principle of pilot-symbol-aided channel estimation (PACE) in frequency domain. The algorithms used here are based on the least squares (LS) and the minimum mean squares error (MMSE) approaches. Furthermore we propose a simple method to reduce the computation complexity of MMSE algorithm significantly which has a desirable performance.
