New Concept of Multiplex Broadband Wireless Communication for Vehicle-to-Vehicle Data Transmission on Highways
In this paper, a new approach is proposed to design a vehicle-to-vehicle data transmission (VVDT) system within the dedicated short-range communications (DSRC) concept capable of data transmitting in real-time scale between all cars within a highway area of 1 km radius. The method suggested makes possible a multi-frequency carrier and space-code division multiple access (MC-S-CDMA) and principle implementation of information transmitting with usage of broadband chaotic waveform codes. Combination of frequency and CDMA channels separation and chaotic waveform coding for implementing CDMA standard are distinguishing features of the suggested DSRC-WDT system. A new method for code prescribed to each car within the working range of DSRC-VVDT system enables usage of identical standard Tx/Rx equipment for all vehicles.
