The process started with the development of a mastery learning self-study package that contains five steps including 1) acquisition, 2) fluency, 3) maintenance, 4) application, and 5) adaptation. After that, a learning self-study package about air-conditioning system was developed containing a course syllabus, content sheet and assignment sheets, pre-test and post-test, worksheets, a test, a demonstration set, and a training set. Next, the package was evaluated by five experts in related field. The result revealed that the package is very suitable. The mastery learning self-study package was then tested applying purposive sampling to select a sample of 12 students enrolling in Air-Conditioning System course of Faculty of Industrial Technology, Chitralada Technology Institute.
