O TECER DE UMA REDE SUL AMERICANA DE ANTROPOLOGIA MARÍTIMO-COSTEIRA: relato de uma experiencia em andamento

In this work, we seek to present the construction and state of the art of a south american coastal anthropology network, as well as to introduce conceptually this area of studies and some background. Thus, we seek to report a course that has been carried out in recent years among a group of researchers from Chile, Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil, through the organization and participation of scientific meetings, where dialogues and debates have been held around theoretical and methodological perspectives for this topic of studies. This happen especially from ethnographies and other experiences with fishing communities and their relationship with the aquatic environment. As wel, this group was created two center of studies and some projects for reserch, on ethnography studies around the theme of coastal populations, as well as seeking to broaden what is conventionally termed marine anthropology and/or fishing anthropology.
