In this paper, to improve the handoff performance from a different aspect and provide differentiated handoff QoS, we propose a handoff initiation threshold algorithm supporting multi-services. Our study indicates that the accuracy of the handoff initiation can be improved by integrating the information of the QoS demands of service, the change of the link quality and the speed of the MS as the handoff trigger.
