Beam Properties of High-Power Reliable Mid-IR Quantum Cascade Lasers after 1300 Hours of Aging
Quantum cascade lasers emitting in the mid-infrared have demonstrated extremely stable and reliable single-spatialmode operation. For the first time, we present the beam quality data of devices before and after 1300 hours of aging at high optical-power densities as well as high current densities.
