The article analyzes the current state of Russian-Uzbek relations. The main focus is on the main areas of cooperation: economic, political, cultural, military-technical. The formation of the interests of bilateral relations under the influence of internal and external factors is considered, since without understanding the goals, objectives and position of each individual state, it is difficult to count on the development of the optimal foreign policy course and concept of cooperation. Despite some difficulties, at this stage the relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan are becoming increasingly consistent, stable and pragmatic. The legal basis for cooperation is being improved, a common educational, cultural and technological space is being formed, logistical corridors are being developed, and measures are being actively shaped to prevent and eliminate security threats in the region.
