As a clinical diagnosis, the etiology of the syndrome varies and is often unknown. The objective of this study is to determine the pattern and the contributing factors of CP among Libyans children. This was a descriptive hospital-based study conducted over a period of six years in ALBYDA Central Hospital – LIBYA. One hundred and eight patients of CP were enrolled, of whom 70 (65%) were males and 38 (35%) were females. Spastic quadriplegic CP was the most common type and epilepsy was the most problem associated with CP.
