Tesnière, valence and verbal complements, that is that is, the links likely to exist between the verb (core) and its various actants (subject and object complements) in Akwá, a Bantu language used in the north of the Republic of Congo. From this study, it appears that unlike some languages including French, Akwá does not have absolutely avalent (impersonal) verbs and these are mostly monovalent.
