A dialogue-based system for man-machine interaction
Basing man-machine interaction on human conversation can provide flexible and effective user interfaces. Conversational interfaces would provide the opportunity for the user to interact with the computer just as they would do to person. In this paper, we introduce a formal model of dialogue that may contribute to the building of better man-machine.
