In this paper, to design a direct sequence-spread spectrum (DS-SS) system to be effective and flexible to operate under ISM interference environments, the DS-SS system which employs an adaptive multicode transmission scheme is introduced. Based on computer simulation, the bit error rate and the throughput performances of the adaptive multicode DS-SS system are studied. A proposal of adaptive multicode transmission for DS-SS system under ISM interference environments
