Latency Performance Analysis of Predictive Resource Allocation
Ultra low latency is one of the most significant requirements in machine type communications and intelligent transport systems. Predictive resource allocation is one of the promising candidates to provide ultra low latency communications. In this paper, we analyze the latency performance of the predictive resource allocation with different parameter configurations. The performance metric is proposed by the Mobile and wireless communication Enablers for the Twenty-twenty Information Society (METIS). Simulations demonstrate the correctness of the theoretical results. The result can be used for find the optimal algorithm parameter and examine whether the performance satisfies the requirement or not. Furthermore, we discuss other factors that is possible to improve the latency performance.
