The results showed a significant (P<0.05) and dose dependent decrease in the semen parameters (count, motility) and a non significant decrease in the percentage of sperm with normal morphology. The tes- ticular photomicrograph also shows dose dependent degenerative changes. 摘要

研究了埃塞俄比亚木醇提物对Wistar大鼠雄性生殖器官的影响。选取24只成年雄性大鼠,随机分为3个实验组,每组8只。1组(对照组)随机给予大鼠饲料和蒸馏水,II组和III组分别给予埃塞俄比亚木杉乙醇提取物0.5ml和1.0ml,每天1次,连续28 d。结果显示,大剂量组小鼠精液参数(精子数量、活动力)显著(P<0.05)降低,形态正常的精子比例无显著降低。显微摄影也显示剂量依赖性的退行性改变。因此,该提取物可能具有一定的抗生育作用,可进一步探索作为男性避孕药的可能性。
