Such protection can be realized in practice with the usage of autotransformer alternating regulators. The paper is related to a new type of analysis of an autotransformer discrete alternating voltage regulator, where the device is presented as a two-port. The main purpose of the present study is to determine the Z-parameters and the characteristic parameters of an autotransformer discrete alternating voltage regulator as a two-port with a load. A Matlab simulation model of the regulator with four levels of commutation realized with thyristor switches is used for the analysis. The non-linearities of the regulator's circuit have been considered in the model. The received simulation results were compared with experimental ones, which showed good adequacy of the model analysis. 摘要
