The induction heating system was choose because of green technology provided by it and had a high efficiency to compare with other heating element. This plant was developing to use in extraction of essential oil based on steam distillation column. The characteristic of steam distillation pot were indicated by perform the step test toward data collected from this plant. This test was conducted to observed dynamics of heating process for each power setting on induction heating system in range 800W to 2000W and to obtained process time delay(Td), time constant(Tc), and settling time(Ts). With this information, the FOPDT transfer function for each power setting was develop. 摘要
