Wider die Ausschließlichkeit. Ästhetische Entwürfe von Vielfalt in der Literatur

Based on cultural approaches of Edouard Glissant, Anil Bhatti and Stuart Hall this article brings firstly the complexity of transcultural phenomena in the context of migration into focus. Secondly it explores the aesthetic construction of religious and cultural diversity by using the example of literary Novels of German and African literature. It ref lects – thirdly – the valence of these literary texts for intercultural literary studies. It argues that an important role of intercultural literature is to present some techniques against tendencies of exclusiveness. Title: Against exclusiveness.
