Correlação do estado cognitivo com a idade e anos de estudo de idosos institucionalizados
The aging process is directly proportional to the cognitive decline of the elderly, this being a result of anatomical and systematic alterations to sharpen the aging process and can be aggravated by an external phenomenon as one of the residents of the Institution of Long Stay for the Elderly. This context is to verify the state of this study is the moment and the status in the long state Permanent in Permanency for the elderly. For that, a cross-sectional study was carried out with the quantitative approach, with 17 institutionalized modes. Sociodemographic and clinical data were selected from the clinical charts of the nursing department; the cognitive ability was evaluated by the questionnaire Mini Mental State Exam, composed of a group of 11 subjects divided into categories. The data were analyzed by the BioEstat 5.0 program, descriptive analysis, ANOVA test followed by the Tukey test to determine how the differences between the data and Chi-Square, with a margin of error of 5% (p = 0.05) (58, 8%). In the mental state it measures the mean of 17.3 years of average age of 78.05 years and 3.5 years of study; The cognitive diagnosis of the elderly is more important than the cognitive capacity of the institutionalized elderly (p = 0.0001). "Aula Signal and Invitatively Proportional with age and proportionality with the schooling of the institutionalized elderly".
