Forensic studies not only help in identifying the dead but also support criminal investigations settlement of insurance and military proceedings that can only be resolved by proper identification methods. The methods of collecting information take support from the advanced technologies in the field of dental imaging and by performing various methods of orofacial examination. In addition to these methods procedures like facial reconstruction and denture identification could be useful tools for recovering lost information.
