The article is dedicated to the anniversary of Elena G. Russkova, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor of Volgograd State University, Honored Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation. A talented scholar, teacher, and a modern leader Elena G. Russkova for many years associated her professional activities with Volgograd State University. After heading the VolSU Faculty of Economics and becoming its Dean, Elena G. Russkova gave more than 25 years to this work, showing her brilliant abilities as a teacher, leader and mentor of students. These same years of activity were devoted to science. Elena G.
