Specifically, with a linear-time probabilistic approximation of reuse distance of all blocks inside each device, APAC can accurately estimate the miss ratio curve (MRC). Furthermore, APAC utilizes the MRCs to obtain the near-optimal configuration of cache allocation by dynamic programming.
