This architecture has allowed the products to be constructed from a set of building blocks that may be mixed and matched to meet the needs of various space missions. Making use of COTS elements expands the debug and demonstration of these products. Future products, such as the RAD750(R) processor and its support chip, by utilizing the positive lessons learned, will be even more flexible and interchangeable than previous products and will provide cost effective solutions to space processing applications in the new millennium.
