PENGEMBANGAN SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN PENENTUAN DOSEN PEMBIMBING DALAM PELAKSANAAN PENGAJUAN JUDUL LAPORAN KERJA PRAKTIK, SKRIPSI DAN TUGAS AKHIRJURUSAN ILMU KOMPUTER FMIPA UNILA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE SAW (SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGTHING)

Karya tulis merupakan salah satu syarat kelulusan bagi mahasiswa Jurusan Ilmu Komputer Universitas Lampung. Adapun karya tulis yang dimaksud adalah skripsi untuk mahasiswa S1, tugas akhiruntukmahasiswa D3, dan laporan kerja praktik untuk seluruh mahasiswa. Dalam peraturan akademik Universitas Lampung, setiap mahasiwa yang akan membuat karya tulis, wajib dibimbing oleh beberapa dosen untuk setiap jenis karya tulis yang akan dibuat. Jurusan Ilmu Komputer Universitas Lampung setiap tahunnya menerima minimal 250 orang mahasiswa dengan tingkat pendidikan Strata Satu dan Ahli Madya, sedangkan dosen yang aktif mengajar hanya 20 orang. Hal ini menyebabkan adanya ketidakseimbangan rasio jumlah dosen dengan jumlah mahasiswa di Jurusan Ilmu Komputer Universitas Lampung dan proses penugasan dosen sebagai pembimbing juga menjadi tidak mudah. Oleh karena itu, agar proses pemilihan dosen pembimbing yang tepat bagi mahasiswa menjadi lebih mudah, maka diperlukan suatu sistem pendukung keputusan dengan menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) atau metode penjumlahan terbobot. Kata Kunci : Sitem Pendukung Kepurtusan (SPK), Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) ABSTRACT Paper or essay is one of graduation’s requirements for the students of Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science, Universitas Lampung. Papers are including Thesis (for Bachelor Degree), Final Assignment or Final Project (for Vocational Degree) and Internship Essay (for all students). In the Academic Rules of Universitas Lampung, each college student who will make a paper must be guided by a group of lectures for each type of paper that will be made. Annually, the Department of Computer Science, Universitas Lampung accepts at least 250 students for Bachelor Degree and Vocational Degree, while active lecturers teach only 20 people. This matter causes an imbalance in ratio of the number of the lectures with the number of students in Computer Science Department of Universitas Lampung and the process of assigning the lecturers as preceptor is also not easy. Therefore, to make the process of assigning lecturers for students easier, it is necessary to built a Decision Support System (DSS) using SAW or Simple Additive Weighting Method Key Words :Decision Support System (DSS), Simple Additive Weighting (SAW)
