Due to different noise sources which affect the eye images captured with an infrared video camera, a large noise component is overlapped on the signals provided by the pupil detection algorithms. This noise component determines cursor instability on the user screen, which makes difficult the eye tracker operation. In order to increase the cursor stability on the user screen, different techniques based on real-time filtering, high frequency spikes cancelling from the signals provided by the PDA and the snap-to-point technique can be used. 摘要

本文对眼动追踪应用中瞳孔检测算法的不同优化技术进行了比较分析。由于不同的噪声源会影响红外摄像机捕获的眼睛图像,因此瞳孔检测算法提供的信号中会重叠大量的噪声成分。这种噪声成分决定了光标在用户屏幕上的不稳定性,这给眼动仪的操作带来了困难。为了增加光标在用户屏幕上的稳定性,可以使用基于实时滤波、从PDA提供的信号中消除高频尖峰和快照到点技术的不同技术。实验结果表明,改进后的PDA系统性能显著提高。
