Penggunaan sosial media secara berlebihan meningkatkan risiko terjadinya gangguan sosial media yang berdampak terhadap kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara gangguan sosial media dan kualitas tidur pada mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (FKUPNVJ) Tahun Akademik 2020/2021. Penelitian menggunakan desain potong lintang. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa FKUPNVJ yang tidak minum kopi, merokok, minum alkohol, memiliki riwayat penyakit, dan mengonsumsi obat yang dapat mengganggu kualitas tidur. Besar sampel sebanyak 86 mahasiswa diambil menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Subjek penelitian diminta untuk mengisi kuesioner yang valid dan reliabel versi Bahasa Indonesia dari Social Media Disorder Scale dan Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 10,5% subjek dengan gangguan sosial media dan 47,7% subjek dengan kualitas tidur buruk. Hasil uji Fisher menunjukkan ada hubungan antara gangguan sosial media dengan kualitas tidur (p = 0,012; OR = 10,7). Perlu ada sosialisasi tentang dampak gangguan sosial media terhadap kualitas tidur yang penting bagi faal tubuh. \nSocial media is increasingly diverse in type, with the number of users estimated to reach hundreds of millions. Excessive use of social media increases the risk of social media disorders that have an impact on health. This study aims to determine the relationship between social media disorders and sleep quality among students of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veterans Jakarta (FMUPNVJ) in the Academic Year 2020/2021. The study used a cross-sectional design. The research subjects were FMUPNVJ students who did not drink coffee, have a smoking habit, drink alcholol, have a histroy of illness, and take drugs that colud interfere with the quality of sleep. The sample size of 86 students was taken using a simple random sampling technique. The students were asked to fill out a valid and reliable Indonesian-language version of the Social Media Disorder Scale and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index questionnaire. The study results showed 10.5% of subjects with social media disorders and 47.7% of subjects with poor sleep quality. Fisher's test results showed there is a relationship between social media disorders and sleep quality (p = 0.012; OR = 10.7).
