Cross-Country, Evolving, and Inter-Circuit Relaying Scheme for Double-Circuit Transmission Line
This paper deals with identification of nonconventional faults, which are named for cross-country fault, evolving fault and inter-circuit in double-circuit transmission line. The suggested scheme depend on computing the variance square-error between the current signals during the fault condition and reference current signal for performing the fault feature. The consequence is then amplified by using the cumulative approach. A double circuit transmission line model that constructed in PSCAD/EMTDC is employed for applying the proposed relaying scheme. Different situations of cross-country fault, inter-circuit fault and evolving faults is being verified. The results showed that the new relaying scheme can be securely used for the identification the non-conventional faults.
