This research employed quasi-experimental design with two groups; control and experimental. It used pre-test and post-test as the instruments of the research for both tests: writing test and creativity test. In treatment, experimental group was taught by applying text-based task whereas control group was conventional method; three phases technique. The result of data analysis showed that the use of text-based task in language learning improved students’ writing skill. It can be seen from the mean score, standard deviation, and scoring classification of experimental group which are improved significantly and also from the component of writing where scores of content, organization, language use, and mechanics of students in experimental group are higher than control group.  The t-test value of writing in posttest was 3.895 ≥ t-table 2.000; it means that the alternative hypothesis is accepted. Text-based task improved students’ writing. 摘要

本研究旨在发现1)在语言学习中使用基于文本的任务是否提高了学生的写作技能;2)在写作中使用基于文本的任务是否提高了学生在流畅性、灵活性和独创性方面的创造力。本研究采用准实验设计,分为两组;控制和实验。本文采用前测和后测作为研究工具,分别对写作测试和创造力测试进行研究。在治疗中,实验组采用文本教学法,对照组采用常规教学法;三阶段技术。数据分析的结果表明,在语言学习中使用基于文本的任务可以提高学生的写作技能。从实验组的平均分、标准差、计分分类都有明显提高,在写作部分,实验组学生的内容、组织、语言运用、机制得分均高于对照组。后测写作的t检验值为3.895≥t表2.000;它意味着可选假设被接受。基于文本的任务提高了学生的写作水平。结果还表明,通过文本任务,学生的创意能力(灵活性)和创意能力(原创性)有显著提高,而创意数量(流畅性)没有显著提高。
